Ep. 7 Interview with Award-Winning Contemporary Christian Artist Rachael Lampa (Her Journey, Her Life)

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing the inspiring Christian singer and songwriter, Rachael Lampa. You might have heard of her #1 hits “Live For You”, “Blessed” and “Lift Me Up” or saw her touring with Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Boyz To Men, Destiny’s Child, and Michael W. Smith.

With Rachael, I talked to her about

-What it was like being in the music industry as a teenager

-Her experience touring with such influential artists

-How she sees her future as a Christian music artist

And so much more!

Some of my favorite quotes of Rachael’s from the episode are:

“All of the things that we stand for and we sing about and we write about when things are going well, we have to keep saying those things when things are not going well and when it's all falling apart, we have to keep repeat that stuff, you know, and we have to keep believing   and it's been just like it's really broken my whole world open in a beautiful way. The way that God, you know, like just breaks all the rules and even in the midst of like such such trauma and such pain like he still finds a way for us to know that we are loved and still seen and taken care of and so yeah, that's I mean it's doing all the spiritual work in between the hard times  that are really important and then it's holding on tight when the tough stuff comes.”

“It's just like hold each other's pain and hold each other's hurt and just stay there with each other until the storm passes until you know, the next thing I know that God does that with us   too and it's like we can accept that like we have a hard time accepting that because we feel like when we're in the struggle and we're in the pain that God isn't there, you know, and that's not true at all. You know, he is working and moving and deepening us.”

Thanks so much in advance for listening and can't wait for you to hear all the new episodes I have lined up of The Festive Success Show!
